My First Aid at Work certificate is due for renewal shortly.
Am I still able to register with Nuco Training?
The First Aid Instructor certificate that Nuco Training issue is dated the same as your expiry date on your current First Aid at Work certificate. So if this is due for renewal, you have two options:
1. You can register by attending the First Aid Instructor Update 2-day course, which will renew your First Aid at Work certificate and a new First Aid Instructors certificate will be issued. You will also be monitored on the course and receive up-to-date Tutors Notes with PowerPoint presentations.
2. You can attend a general First Aid at Work Re-qualification 2-day course locally to you and then register with Nuco Training. The First Aid Instructors certificate we will issue to you will be valid in line with your updated FAW certificate.
What is classed as an acceptable training record?
You should have delivered 36 hours (6 x 6 hour days) of teaching First Aid, Health & Safety or Food Safety within the last 3 years.
What can be classed as “considerable”?
The instructor should provide evidence of successfully delivering a minimum of 72 hours of teaching First Aid, Health & Safety or Food Safety within the last 3 years.
“I did my course with Nuco
in 2011, it was one of the
best courses I have done in my career. I further undertook the Defibrillator Instructor Course with them. Darren is excellent instructor and makes you feel very relaxed and at ease from the moment you step through the door. I have recommended them to many of my friends. Will be back to requal next year.”
