LEARNING OUTCOMES THE LEARNER WILL:
1. Understand the role and responsibilities of a First Aid Appointed Person
2. Understand the employers responsibilities in respect of First Aid
3. Understand how to manage a First Aid related incident in the absence of a qualified First Aider or Emergency First Aider
ASSESSMENT CRITERIA THE LEARNER CAN:
1.1 Describe the role and responsibilities of an Appointed Person
1.2 Outline the legislative requirements for First Aid provision in the workplace 1.3 Describe how to complete an accident report form
1.4 Identify the essential details you need to make an effective telephone call
to the emergency services
