FAW Training In Northern Ireland

If you plan on delivering the OFQUAL regulated Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification within Northern Ireland, then please be aware that you are still required to carry out the "traditional" formal assessment at the end of the course and still require independent Assessors. You will need 1 Assessor for each 6 students on the course and this will remain the case until the HSENI announce any formal changes to their legislation. The assessment criteria is as laid out in the Level 3 course pack from ourselves, but carried out by an independent Assessor.

It has also been announced that any course that is registered within 28 days of commencement will now be given the go ahead from the HSENI, but we still need to notify them of our intention of running a course. All you need to do is register your course as normal on Nucoplus and we will take care of the notification to the HSENI on your behalf. Previously we have always had to give a minimum of 28 days notice, so this will now allow you to run a course at short notice.

Please note - this only applies to courses that are run in Northern Ireland.
