This AED features Rescue Ready technology where it performs self testing automatically. If anything is amiss, the status indicator will change from green to red and will also prompt you audibly.
When the rescuer applies the pads, the device analyzes the heart rythm and "knows" when to deliver (or not to deliver) a shock.
