HSE QUALIFICATIONS
As covered in previous Newsletters, the HSE stopped accrediting First Aid qualifications as of 1st October 2013 and the OFQUAL regulated qualifications have taken their place. We have done everything that is required behind the scenes here at Nuco to enable this to have minimal impact on you, and no action is needed from you in order to offer the OFQUAL regulated qualifications. There is a slight change in paperwork, but apart from that everything has been done with First Aid Awards Ltd to enable you to continue offering accredited qualifications to your clients.
If you register your courses on-line using Nucoplus and have run an HSE course prior to 1st October, but not registered it and notified the results, please can you do so by 5pm on Friday 11th October. From that time, the qualifications will no longer be available on Nucoplus and you will have to send the paperwork in for manual administration at an additional cost of £1 per certificate.
