LEVEL 3 FOOD COMPLIANCE AND GOOD NUTRITION COURSE
Food Safety and Nutrition have become an extremely important part of all of our lives in recent years due to the increase in
food processing and catering outlets, restaurants and increased awareness. If you are considering a career within these
industries, then this course will equip you with a vast range of skills and qualifications.
This unique course, which incorporates new and innovative modules, is designed to suit those who want to teach a range
of Food Safety and Nutrition qualifications that are nationally accredited as well as for those who are seeking an alternative
career in these subjects.
In addition, you will be registered with the Food Crew – home of Good Nutrition for Active Children™.
This will equip and enable you to teach a unique programme of understanding the importance of good nutrition for
active children in schools, sports clubs, voluntary and regulatory organisations as well as parents/guardians/carers. It is
accredited by Skills Active/REPS with 3 CPD points available.
This course has been created by Jenny Stretton FADipTSI, MSST and Dr Helen Pittson PhD MMediSci, BSc.
This is a 4-day classroom based course at various locations around the UK.
Qualifications you will attain from this course: (subject to assessment)
- Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering (awarded by an Ofqual regulated awarding organisation)
- Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (awarded by an Ofqual regulated awarding organisation)
- Level 2 Award in Good Nutrition (awarded by an Ofqual regulated awarding organisation)
- Instructor of Good Nutrition for Active Children™
Qualifications you will be able to teach: (subject to you holding an appropriate teaching qualification)
- Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (QCF)
- Level 2 Award in Good Nutrition (QCF)
- Good Nutrition for Active Children™
